This tool is not built for engineers. Built for everyone else. If you just want to know whether your landing page is still up, you shouldn't need any technical knowledge like http method, webhooks, separate SSL monitors, or an ops handbook. SiteOK keeps it simple: • Paste a URL — no technical knowledge required • Mobile-friendly setup • Email alerts when it's down • SSL included on HTTPS • Try without signing up Deliberately simple. 30-minute checks — enough signal, no ops theater.

Pasted my landing page URL and got a clean status check in seconds, no account needed. The 30-minute interval feels just right for a small site like mine, and the email alert setup was refreshingly simple.
@ceylinarbaivif Thank you — this made my day.
“No account needed” and “30 minutes is enough for a small site” are exactly the trade-offs I hoped would feel right. Glad the email alert setup stayed simple too.
If anything still feels slightly off while you use it, I’d love to hear — especially from small-site owners like you.
Love how dead simple this is, exactly what non-technical folks need. One idea: add a public status page for each monitored site so I can share a clean uptime report with clients without giving them dashboard access. Would be a natural next step from just "knowing it's up" to "showing others it's up."
@puyguc6201 Thank you — “exactly what non-technical folks need” is exactly the bet we’re making.
And yes to the public status page idea. “Knowing it’s up” → “showing others it’s up” is a really clear next step. Sharing a clean uptime report with clients without giving dashboard access is a use case I want to support.
If we ship it, I’d keep it simple: a public page per monitored site first (history + current status), not a full Statuspage-style product.
Curious what you’d want on that page at minimum: last 7/30 days uptime %, incident timestamps, or just a simple green/red status?
Love how simple this is, genuinely refreshing. One thing that would make it even better for me would be a public status page you can share with clients, kind of like a basic trust badge they can check too. Would save me from sending screenshots when something goes down.
@aynurv6z6 Thank you — really glad the simplicity comes through.
Public status page / shareable trust badge for clients is a great call. I’ve heard the “please don’t make me send screenshots” pain more than once. If we add it, I’d want to keep it as dead-simple as the rest of SiteOK — probably a basic public page you can link, not a full status-page product.
Not on the first ship, but it’s on my list. Curious: would a simple public URL with uptime history be enough for your clients, or do you also want embeddable badge widgets?
pasted my URL and got a clean status in like five seconds, no signup screens jumping at me. honestly kind of refreshing for a monitoring tool.
@alperw3qp Thank you — “no signup screens jumping at me” is exactly the feeling I wanted.
Most monitoring tools make you create an account before you can even try. Glad the paste-a-URL start felt refreshing. Hope it stays that simple as you keep using it.
