Vaneyck Seme Otoki
Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Vaneyck, the maker of SingTogether. I built this app out of frustration. I play in a band, and every time we wanted to practice remotely or share a new song idea, it was a nightmare. I’d send a Dropbox folder of stems, but half the band didn’t have a DAW (or didn't know how to use one), and the other half just listened to the MP3 and missed the nuances of their specific parts. I wanted a tool that was as easy as sending a Google Doc link, but powerful enough to handle multitrack audio. SingTogether is a browser-based audio workspace designed for collaboration, not production. How it works: 1. Upload: Drop your stems/multitracks into the app. 2. Share: Send the link to your drummer, singer, or bassist. 3. Practice: They can mute the guide tracks, solo their own part, or turn up the click track. 4. Create: If they have a new idea, they can record it right there in the browser and we all hear it instantly. We are currently in [Beta/v1], and I’d love to hear your feedback. specifically: - How does the latency feel when recording? - How well does it work on mobile vs desktop? - Are there any mixing tools you miss from a traditional DAW? Thanks for checking it out! 🚀
