Hey everyone, I built Simply Link for one simple reason. I kept seeing the same story from UK solo workers. Cleaners, dog walkers, tutors, gardeners. All saying the same thing in Facebook groups. Clients pay late. Chasing money feels awkward. Reminding people feels unprofessional. And there was no actual tool built for them. Most of these folks do not use invoicing apps or bookkeeping tools. They do not want a portal. They do not want “client management”. They just want to send a link and get paid on the day without feeling cheeky. So I started building a tiny tool to solve that one problem. A simple payment link with automatic reminders on overdue payments so they never have to send the awkward text again. Along the way it grew into something bigger. I ended up building a full Stripe Connect infrastructure, a clean dashboard, branded payment pages, and a Pro system that quietly handles follow ups for them. What started as a small idea became a focused payment system for solo professionals in the UK. My approach has been the same from day one. Keep it simple. Make it friendly. Make it fast. Make it feel like something real people would actually want to use. And engineer the backend like it was protecting my own business. Thanks for taking a look. Happy to answer questions and genuinely appreciate any feedback.
