If you're anything like me and looking at your finances with narrowed eyes, you've wondered why no budgeting app seems to help you make sense of your budget. This was the position I found myself in last year, so I decided to make something that could. It's called "simplsaver", and the idea is to help you understand your budget simply and easily, and in practically no time at all. In as little as 60 seconds, you can start to explain what your budget is doing entirely on your phone, and not shared with anyone else. We all have budgets that are active all the time, but we may not think about them. Whenever money comes out of your account from a service or something else, that's your budget in action. This app is designed to help you make sense of where your weekly, fortnightly, or monthly salary is going, and how much you should have at the end of each month, too. I'm gradually releasing it country by country, with Australia and New Zealand first. The UK launched next and we've just gone live in America. More countries are on the roadmap, and I hope to have them launched in the coming months!
