Like many of you, my goal was to build a simple, profitable micro-SaaS. I’m not a dev by trade, but I was determined to learn and build something people would actually pay for.
My journey started with a simple question: "What's a problem so annoying that people would gladly pay to make it disappear?"
🚨 The Problem
I’m from Brazil, and I wanted to understand the American freelance market. So I used AI to analyze hundreds of conversations in communities like Reddit. The answer was loud and clear: chasing late payments.
It's a soul-crushing, silent part of the job. You do brilliant work, but then you have to become a part-time debt collector. The stress of writing that awkward "just following up..." email, the impact on your cash flow, the feeling of being undervalued... it's a massive headache.
✨ The Solution (Our "Stupidly Simple" Philosophy)
The existing tools felt like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut. Expensive, bloated CRMs with a million features I didn't need.
I just wanted a tool that would do one thing perfectly.
So, I built Simplio.
Simplio is a zero-configuration, "set it and forget it" tool that automates your invoice reminders. It's the calm, invisible assistant I always wished I had.

The process was designed to be the opposite of every other complex financial tool:
Connect Stripe Once: A quick, secure onboarding. You never have to touch Stripe's complex settings again.
Add Invoice in 30s: Enter your client's email, the amount, and the due date. That's it. Your work is done.
Relax: Simplio sends a polite, professional, and persistent sequence of reminder emails on your behalf.
Get Paid: Your client pays via a secure link, the money lands directly in your Stripe account, and we notify you.
We don’t touch your money. We don’t complicate your life. We just get you paid.
