We’re excited to launch SimpleWebAPIs today.

The idea behind it is straightforward: features that sound simple often become surprisingly time-consuming to build and maintain.

Generating a QR code, creating an invoice PDF, looking up DNS records, or extracting data from a CV shouldn’t mean researching libraries, managing extra infrastructure, or integrating a different service every time.

So we built SimpleWebAPIs, a growing collection of focused, developer-friendly APIs that are quick to understand and easy to add to an application.

A few things that were important to us:

Simple, predictable integration. One account, one API key, and straightforward REST endpoints with clear documentation.
Useful building blocks. Generate QR codes, barcodes, and business PDFs, perform DNS and WHOIS lookups, extract OpenGraph data, analyse text, parse CVs, and more.
An interactive playground. You can test endpoints directly in your browser, experiment with different inputs, and see the responses before writing any code.
Ready for AI agents. Every API is also available through our hosted MCP server, so tools such as Claude, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible clients can use them directly without running a local server.
No unnecessary data collection. We don’t collect or store personal or sensitive data submitted through the APIs.

There are plenty more endpoints we want to add, but we’d rather build them alongside the people using the platform.
