Hey Product Hunters! 👋 I just launched "Simple AI Notepad" as my very first indie product! 🚀 This is also my first time posting on Product Hunt, so I'm feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the product, and since I'm a first-time maker, any advice on how to navigate a Product Hunt launch or indie hacking in general would be incredibly helpful! Why I built this: While I love tools like Cursor and Claude, I often felt a bit of "friction" when trying to write directly into them from the start. My workflow was always: 1. Write thoughts in a blank, lightweight editor. 2. Open a browser to refine ideas with AI. 3. Move the final result into the actual tool I wanted to use. The constant back-and-forth between tools was becoming a headache. To solve this, I combined a minimalist editor with fast, affordable AI so the entire drafting workflow can stay in one place. I made this to remove that mental overhead and make the work itself feel smoother. Any feedback on the UI or the 'friction' I mentioned would be greatly appreciated!

Love the focus on removing friction from the writing workflow—that's a real pain point. One thing that might help your launch: tracking how people are talking about your product and what specific friction points they mention most could shape your roadmap. Curious if you're planning to iterate based on user feedback during the hunt.

I’m definitely planning to iterate based on user feedback. My biggest challenge right now, however, is simply getting people interested enough to provide that feedback in the first place—the barrier to entry feels quite high.

I haven't found an effective way to bridge that gap yet, so if you have any ideas or tips, I’d love to hear them. I'm ready to ship improvements as soon as I get any input!
