Hey everyone, Chris here, maker of Silver Lining. Last summer I had to close my startup and lay off my entire team. It sucked. I tried to help them all find new jobs by creating a spreadsheet of their profiles and sharing it with my network and on social platforms. It felt...inadequate. Since then, we've seen more news of layoffs. Uber, WeWork, Juul, Oyo, Mozilla, Wayfair, Expedia...the list goes on. Almost every time, it is followed by a spreadsheet: a messy tab for jobseeker profiles, and another messy tab where recruiters or hiring managers are adding jobs. I wanted to make something better. Silver Lining is a project to help those affected by lay-offs. My goal is simple: to offer those affected by layoffs support. The support to find a new role by helping them connect with recruiters on the platform. The support of a warm and welcoming community of individuals that have been through a similar challenge. You can read about our coverage in Crunchbase here: https://news.crunchbase.com/news... Let me know if you have any questions. Silver Lining is a mission driven project for me and I would love your feedback 😊 Thanks to @picsoung for hunting us! Chris

I think there probably is a need for this, but what went wrong is audience targeting and reach them. It looks like they don't hangout on PH, or just marketing is crippled, or both.
