Silver Halide develops digital photos and video through modelled film stocks (Portra, Tri-X, Velvia, Vision3), on Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android.
We built Silver Halide because every film look we tried was a LUT: the same colour shift whatever the photograph. Real film doesn't behave like that. An underexposed frame on Portra gets different grain and shadow colour than a well-exposed one. We model the emulsion instead: curve, grain, halation. It runs on Mac and Windows, and the phone app for iPhone and Android is free with every stock unlocked. We'd love to hear which stocks you want next.
