I ended up checking out Sigma after one of the implementation engineers at Snowflake mentioned the platform. I worked in finance as a dashboard gopher early in my career, and jfc this would have been a godsend at the time. Honestly, for my decade-plus career I've been trying everything to encourage dashboard adoption and somehow hadn't thought of "giving them a spreadsheet to feel at home". As of Apr 2023, Sigma has a 15-day free trial and they don't seem to block any features during the trial (and it's a nice change of pace that they let you actually play around for a few days instead of calling ten minutes into the trial to discuss a contract)
