Paste a listing link or photos. SiftCar reads the photos with AI, pulls official US title and odometer records, compares the price to live comparable listings, and gives you a Buy / Negotiate / Walk verdict plus a negotiation script with real numbers. First check free.
Hi PH, solo dev here. A few years ago I bought a used BMW that turned into a money pit. The listing had warning signs I didn't know how to read. So I built the tool I wish I'd had.
You paste a listing link and it does what a careful buyer would do with an afternoon: reads all the photos (rust, resprays, dash warning lights), decodes the VIN, pulls the official US title and odometer records, prices the car against similar ones actually for sale right now, and then tells you what to say to the seller with real numbers.
Honest notes: the app took a few weeks to build, getting licensed access to the government title database took much longer. Each check costs me real money in API and data fees, so the first check is free and after that it's paid. US listings work best. And it will tell you to get a pre purchase inspection, because nothing replaces hands on the car.
Here's a full sample report from a real listing so you can see exactly what you get: https://siftcar.com/report/36116...
I'd love to hear what the report gets wrong. That feedback genuinely shapes what I fix next.
