Review Sidian DataGuard?
Reviewers describe Sidian DataGuard as a practical way to handle sensitive data sharing, especially for medical, legal, and other firms using AI. They repeatedly praise its redaction and policy controls for removing guesswork, deciding what can be shared, and reducing manual review. Clear, auditable logs are a common strength, giving teams confidence they have done due diligence. Users also say it improves file transfers by fixing sensitive content issues rather than simply blocking sends, though the feedback is entirely positive and narrow in scope.

What makes this product stand out to me is that it takes the guesswork out of handling sensitive data. You set policies based on the law and how your team really works. After that it decides who sees what and what gets shared with whom. Every decision is logged automatically so you can prove you did it right without the manual review bottleneck.
Egnyte's own help center lists those three for flagged content, and all three treat the file as an object. The sentence naming your client goes out whole. DataGuard checks the same file on the way out, so only the recipient's part leaves.

Every step of the process is clear, well explained, and fully auditable, so I never have to questions that I or other members of my team have done their due diligence. A huge mental weight lifted!
vs Alternatives
Sidian seems to be ahead of the game when it comes to data redaction. I don't know of anyone else doing what they're doing right now.
This company and their product solves a problem facing every company, and their relationship with their employees - how can you use the best available data to use and train AI, without sharing what you don’t want to share or shouldn’t be sharing.
