What do you think? …

David Locke
My cable company overcharged me for their service and I found myself stuck in their online chat waiting for them to resolve the issue. They wasted 47 minutes of my time. I was trapped and bored! Out of that boredom the idea of Sidecade emerged. Thank you for trying it out! I genuinely hope you love it. This was by far one of the favorite products I have ever built. It is also one of the best tested products I've ever built because testing it out meant playing games which was an absolute blast!

Hi, David! Thanks for amazing app! How do you think may I use Sidecade not only in Сhrome, but also in Firefox and Opera?
Alexander Ptitsyn
David, thanks!
David Locke
@alexanderptitsyn Thank you for your kind words. Yes. The plan is more games + and more browers.

Sidecade is a brilliant idea born out of the frustration of wasted time. It's clear you've put a lot of passion into this project. Looking forward to trying it out and having fun while I wait! 🕹️😀 #SidecadeInnovation

Giving me Miniclip vibes!
David Locke
@rrhoover Yes! I love their games. Plan after launch is to expand to more games + more browsers. What is your favorite miniclip game?
Ryan Hoover
@techlocke it's been so long! I can't remember. I was more of a console and traditional PC game player back then.
David Locke
@rrhoover My man! Me too. Well I hope you enjoy Sidecade.

I'm impressed! Btw, what challenges did you encounter during the development process, and how did you overcome them?
David Locke
@codyjy Thank you! I think 2 things come to mind. 1. The windowing system -- The games run inside of self-contained modal style windows within the page. I was going for a native window feel and not a clunky modal feel. There are lots of modal solutions out there but none that really gave the feel I was looking for, so I ended up building one out. There is still more I want to do with the windowing system, but it is definitely a lot better than my initial experiments with 3rd-party windowing systems. 2. Chrome extensions -- Building a chrome extension has a little bit of a learning curve. It took some getting used to but once I got the hang of it went pretty well.
Congrats team Sidecade on the launch!
