Side Reader can bring this enhanced interactive reading experience with PDFs to LLM applications. Once you install the Side Reader, just visit sites like chatgpt.com, claude.ai, or chat.deepseek.com, click on the plugin icon, and you can read PDFs directly within these websites. After selecting text, an interactive AI button appears. Clicking the button sends the selected text to the AI for actions such as translation, explanation, summarization, copying, or inserting into the input box. Additional Features: 1. Supports adding custom highlight buttons and defining their prompts. 2. PDFs uploaded to Side Reader are stored locally. 3. Users can take screenshots of the PDF and send them to the AI.
