This is an interesting statement, but... really, who cares? Sorry, I know some people care — but are they legion and also willing to spend $2? Glad to see choice in the marketplace all the same. #WhoMeCynical? "We don’t send crash logs, don’t track usage statistics, don’t use any advertising engines, don’t integrate social network SDKs"

I'm not sure there'll be much of an audience for this in the US, but maybe folks in Germany care enough about the NSA to pony up $2 for a chat app?
