Most sleep apps try to help you sleep. This one roasts you. It’s a single button. Press it when you know you should sleep but don’t want to. The more you press, the meaner it gets. No signup, no setup — just escalating humor and reverse psychology that shames you into closing the tab and going to bed.

I didn’t start with a grand plan. I started with a question I kept asking myself: why do I stay up even when I know I shouldn’t?
I was talking to AI, mostly to think out loud. At some point it generated a line like “your dark circles now have their own gravity.” I laughed — then thought: what if it escalated?
That was the trigger.
I built it in one afternoon: one conversation, one HTML file. I focused on tone, making each press go from gentle to absurd. Then I launched.
Now people are using it. Some say “make it meaner.” Some say “this won’t make me sleep.” Both are useful signals, so I’m iterating based on what lands.
The process wasn’t linear: curiosity → conversation → laugh → build → launch → listen → repeat.

A useless but weirdly helpful button for people who can’t sleep — not to make you sleepy, but to be a weird friend that keeps you company.
