I often save useful Shorts and Reels to watch later, but I rarely actually go back and watch them. Since using Shortsmark, I’ve been able to go through all that saved content much more efficiently and pick up the key takeaways from each video without spending a lot of time watching them one by one.
What I like most is that it doesn’t just save me time. I’ve also been able to learn a lot of useful things that I probably would have missed or never gotten around to watching otherwise.
Hi Product Hunt, this is Dongku Kim,
Since our first launch, Shortsmark has grown from saving short-form video insights into a personal knowledge library you can ask.
If you:
Save useful videos, articles, or documents, then forget what made them worth keeping,
Remember an idea months later but can’t find the source,
Want to actually use what you’ve collected without rereading everything,
...then Shortsmark is for you.
The Problem
Saving something is easy. Coming back to the useful part is where things fall apart. A bookmark keeps the link, but the idea still gets buried in a folder you meant to organize later.
What Shortsmark Does
Gives you something readable to return to: Turn supported video and article links, documents, or pasted text into short posts in your personal library.
Keeps every idea connected to its source: Read the key points, then open the original when you need the full context.
Helps you find and use what you saved: Search your library or ask questions answered from your own notes, with citations you can follow.
Brings your library into your workflow: Connect it to compatible AI tools through MCP.
Less collecting things you’ll never revisit. More using what you know.
The web app is available now. The iPhone app shown in the gallery is coming soon.
I’d appreciate your feedback on the reading experience, source quality, and how useful the answers are. What’s something you saved recently that you wish you could find or put to use right now?
