I often save useful Shorts and Reels to watch later, but I rarely actually go back and watch them. Since using Shortsmark, I’ve been able to go through all that saved content much more efficiently and pick up the key takeaways from each video without spending a lot of time watching them one by one.

What I like most is that it doesn’t just save me time. I’ve also been able to learn a lot of useful things that I probably would have missed or never gotten around to watching otherwise.

I’d love to see support for longer videos as well. Right now, Shortsmark supports short-form videos like Shorts and Reels, but I also have quite a few 15–20 minute videos in my Watch Later list.

It would be great if Shortsmark could connect to accounts like YouTube and summarize those videos in the background as well. That would make it even more useful for managing my saved videos.

I mostly considered just using YouTube’s Watch Later list or manually summarizing videos with AI. But in practice, I knew I probably wouldn’t keep up with either of those. Shortsmark was much easier because I could just save the videos and come back to the key takeaways later.
