ShopTools helps Shopify merchants fix CSV import problems and manage product data faster. Validate Shopify CSV files, detect missing fields, repair formatting issues, bulk edit product information, and convert product files from platforms like Amazon and Etsy. No more spending hours manually fixing spreadsheets before uploading products to Shopify.

Being able to save custom validation rules for specific client stores would be huge since I run multiple shops with different product data standards. Currently the validation rules reset and I have to reconfigure them every time.
@tyondas80052 Thanks for the great feedback! This is a very useful idea.
You're right — users managing multiple Shopify stores often have different data requirements for each store. Saving custom validation rules and reusing them would make the workflow much smoother.
We'll definitely add this to our feature roadmap and explore the best way to support this use case.
Really appreciate your feedback — it helps us build ShopTools around real Shopify workflows!
Finally something that actually catches the missing fields my CSVs always seem to have. Bulk editing saved me like an hour on my last product upload, which honestly felt kind of magical after years of manual spreadsheet fixes.
One thing that would save me even more time is a saved rule feature for recurring fixes, like always mapping a certain Amazon field to the Shopify title format or auto-filling default values for missing tags. Right now I have to apply the same corrections every time I import a new batch.
Honestly the CSV validation alone is worth it, caught missing handle fields on a 500 row upload that would have totally wrecked my import. Going to try the Amazon converter next.
Bulk rename patterns would save so much time, especially for things like adding a prefix to all SKUs or standardizing vendor names across hundreds of rows. A simple find and replace with regex support would be a huge quality of life improvement.
Would love to see a diff preview before I actually push the bulk edits to Shopify, kind of like a sandbox mode where I can spot-check the changes row by row before committing. That extra safety net would make me way more comfortable running edits on a 500-product catalog.
