Shishu is a public history library that keeps sources, visible gaps, version history, and paragraph-level corrections close to the text. You can read our bilingual human-history overview or the complete English edition about Kilwa and the East African coast. Corrections enter editorial review and never rewrite a work automatically. This is a public beta, and parts of the library remain in Chinese. When you read a disputed historical claim, what should be easiest to inspect first: its sources, its uncertainty, or its revision history?
