Hey Product Hunt š
I'm George, a solo dev from Serbia. Yes, I'm launching a launch platform on a launch platform. I see the irony.
Here's why I built it. I've shipped a few small products, and every launch went the same way: months of building, one launch day, and then I was buried under hundreds of other products by lunch. That works when you have an audience. It doesn't when you're one person with a side project.
So I built the place I wanted: ShipDesk.dev, a small weekly launch board for solo devs.
How it works
š¢ Paste your website. It fills in the name, logo and description for you.
š You get your own launch page: screenshots, video, socials, co-founders.
š Pick your launch day. You go on that week's board, and the board resets every Monday.
š The top three of each week keep a gold, silver or bronze medal on their page.
š You see your views, clicks, and where your traffic came from.
What it costs
Launching is free. There are two paid options if you want to go faster ($19) or be pinned at the top for the week ($49), but nobody needs them to be on the board.
Where it stands, honestly
It's brand new. The board is nearly empty right now, which is the best time to be on it: your launch won't be competing with 300 others.
I built this alone and in public, so I'd really like your feedback, including the harsh kind.
One question for the makers here: what was the most frustrating part of your last launch? I'm deciding what to build next from the answers.
Thanks for checking it out š
