Hey Product Hunt, I'm one of the co-founders of Open mHealth (www.openmhealth.org). We made Shimmer because we are sick and tired of people having to pay for access to digital health data when most of the access points are free. We believe in open-source and leveraging the power of community to make more integrations possible. Which is why this needs to be open-sourced and not something so proprietary.
Shimmer is easy to deploy (using Docker) and should only take you a few hours to get up and running.
