I built Shhepit, a small macOS menu bar app for taking short sound resets after meetings.
The idea came from noticing that after a call ends, my mind often stays in the meeting for a while. Shhepit lets you choose how you feel, start a 1 5 minute soundscape, and take a short pause before moving on to the next task.
Love having this tucked in the menu bar for a quick reset between meetings. The rain one with the short breathing prompt actually makes me pause instead of doomscrolling into the next call.
@sozoguten62684 This is so great to hear thank you! That little pause before jumping into the next meeting is exactly what I hoped Shhepit would help with. I’m really glad the rain and breathing prompt are working for you!
finally something that lives quietly in the menu bar without nagging me. the rain on leaves soundscape hit the spot after a long stretch of meetings.
@vedat02op Thank you that means a lot! I really wanted Shhepit to feel calm and unobtrusive, so I’m glad it fits naturally into your menu bar. And I’m happy the Rain on Leaves soundscape helped after a long day of meetings!

the menu bar approach is genuinely smart, you know? doesn't pull you into another app when all you need is like two minutes of calm. really clean way to handle it
@emelwgdj Thank you, I really appreciate that! That’s exactly what I wanted Shhepit to feel like — a quick moment of calm without pulling you away from what you’re doing. I’d love to have you join the beta and hear what you think after trying it!
