SharingCast uses WebRTC to connect two browsers directly so files travel straight from sender to receiver. Nothing is ever stored on a server, even temporarily. No account needed, works in any modern browser, and can be installed like an app on desktop, Android, or iOS. Add an optional password on top of WebRTC's built-in encryption, and transfers automatically resume if the connection drops.

more.
It’s fantastic because it enables direct, secure device-to-device file transfer without needing an account or server storage, protecting user privacy while working smoothly across any browser.
What needs improvement
The transfer speed depends on the local network, so optimizing the peer-to-peer connection for better performance on weaker networks could be an improvement.
vs Alternatives
I considered other cloud-based transfer services, but chose SharingCast for its privacy-first approach since files are never stored on a server.
SharingCast makes file sharing simple and hassle-free. I like that files can be transferred directly between devices without creating an account or relying on server storage. The clean interface and straightforward experience make it very convenient.
vs Alternatives
I considered traditional cloud storage and other file-sharing tools, but SharingCast stood out because of its direct peer-to-peer approach and simple setup.
