@soffes great to hear that Shares 3 is coming! Without a backend can you create historical charts of portfolio performance? It'll be really cool to see that!
@soffes I would suggest that it would be great if the new version could also incorporate "sell orders". i.e. the app provides an awesome log of all shares that I buy at different prices; but if I sell some of those shares, then everything goes out of whack. Would be great if I could list that I sold X number of shares for X price and have that incorporated into the calculations.
@soffes I would love to be able to track my BTC purchases and their relative change through Coinbase's API. Add that and Shares would be a homescreen app for me.
Btw, totally didn't realize you built Coins too. Love that app
I downloaded about 10 apps for managing stock portfolios for iPhone and this was the best by far; worth paying for. All the others were bloated, this is the main one with a nice, simple design that works.
simplicity is the way to go. i like the clean interface :)
As someone who do not have time to watch the markets / track portfolios all the time, it will be great if the app can alert me once it reaches a certain level. Something like what Call Levels did for individual assets

@soffes I think Product Hunt just got a scoop! @soffes is using IB!!
Do you think the new APIs for screen sizes will make like harder, or easier?
