One card, two fates. Flip between Yin and Yang faces to change both cost and effect, read enemy intents, and turn defense, setup, and burst into one decisive sequence. Build around Sword, Five Phases, Summoning, or Karma in a Chinese-mythology roguelike deckbuilder.
Hi Product Hunt! I’m the solo developer of Shanhai Exorcist: Yin-Yang Chronicles.
The idea began with one question: what if flipping a card changed the decision instead of simply upgrading it? Every card has Yin and Yang faces with different costs and effects, so timing a flip can reshape the entire turn.
I built four distinct schools—Sword, Five Phases, Summoning, and Karma—around that rule, then placed them in a world inspired by Chinese mythology. The game is fully released on Steam, and I’d genuinely love feedback on whether the dual-faced system feels readable and strategically meaningful.
