I'm Daisuke, the creator of ShadowingGO, a web app designed to make shadowing — an effective English-speaking training method — easier and more enjoyable for everyone.

🎯 Motivation

Learning English has never been easy for me. When I first started, I could barely speak or understand natural English conversations. But everything changed when I discovered shadowing — listening to native speech and repeating it immediately.

After practicing consistently, my IELTS score rose to 7.5 — something I couldn’t have imagined at the beginning. That experience inspired me to create ShadowingGO, a simple and free tool that helps others practice shadowing easily with YouTube videos.

💡 What Is “Shadowing”?

If you’re new to shadowing, it’s a language-learning technique where you listen and speak simultaneously with a native speaker, imitating their pronunciation, rhythm, and intonation. It’s widely used by interpreters and advanced learners, but anyone can benefit from it to improve speaking fluency and listening comprehension.
