Hey All, I'm Meet, and I built Settl because every group trip I've been on ends the same way: someone doesn't have the app everyone else uses, someone doesn't want to sign up, someone hits a paywall mid-vacation, and we end up doing math in a Notes app anyway. So I built the version I actually wanted to use. What Settl does: Open the app, create a group, and add who paid and who owes. Settl figures out the rest, including the minimum number of payments needed to settle everyone fairly, so nobody has to untangle a web of "you owe me, I owe them." What I cared about while building it: No account, ever. No email, no phone number, no password. Open the app and go. Privacy by default. All data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is collected, synced, or uploaded. No ads, no tracking. The app doesn't sell your attention or your data. Built for real use. Most people log expenses in 20 seconds while the waiter is standing there. The UI is built for that.
