Love this idea - as a lifelong public transit rider I've absolutely had that moment where the time it took to pull out a card & swipe was long enough to make me miss a train. Awesome to see Boston's MBTA being so cooperative.
Seems like they are considering different possible next steps. If they work with universities can definitely see this taking off on campuses where you swipe all day for everything from get ting into buildings to buying lunch to paying for laundry.
