Hi Product Hunt! I’m Ricardo, sharing SerieX: free, open-source desktop bookkeeping and U.S. payroll for small businesses.
The idea is straightforward: keep your books in a file you control, with familiar accounting workflows and no monthly subscription. SerieX brings invoices, bills, bank-file imports and reconciliation, inventory, financial reports, and payroll into one Mac or Windows app. It also imports QuickBooks Desktop exports, with a test run and a trial-balance comparison to help check the migration.
