We built Sera after seeing the same problem repeat globally: non-USD stablecoins exist everywhere, but they’re fragmented, thinly paired, and mostly locked to USD. This makes real multi-currency settlement on-chain surprisingly hard. Instead of adding another wallet or bridge, we focused on the FX layer itself — how tokenised fiat currencies can be priced, paired, and settled against each other at scale. That led us to design a system supporting 552 currency pairs across 70+ regulated stablecoins from 20+ countries, with on-chain FX rate setting and multi-currency swaps.
