Hi everyone, I'm the founder of SentEdge. I'm a software developer by trade, not a trader. SentEdge actually started as a side project while I was building an AI-powered crypto trading bot. I wanted to add sentiment as another signal, but the services I found were either expensive or only updated once every 24 hours, which wasn't particularly useful. Rather than paying for another API, I started collecting data myself from news sites, Reddit and social platforms, then built an AI pipeline to analyse whether the conversation was positive, negative or neutral. Along the way I became interested in another question: how much of what we're reading online is actually written by people versus AI? That became another signal we now analyse alongside sentiment. What started as a hobby quickly grew into something much bigger. After months of building data pipelines, scoring algorithms and APIs, I realised other developers and traders might find it useful too. That's when SentEdge became its own product. Today, SentEdge provides alomost real-time crypto sentiment, AI-generated market insights, narrative tracking and an API for developers who want to build trading bots, dashboards or their own applications. This is our first public launch and I'd genuinely love to hear your feedback.
