SenseCrypt doesn't verify a password, a code, or a built-in device biometric. It verifies a live person. Every sign-in creates a non-reversible, single-use, quantum-safe face token — never a stored biometric template. Enroll from a photo on file, sign in by face. OIDC, SAML 2.0 and SCIM 2.0.
I'm Fu Yi, product owner at Seventh Sense, the team behind SenseCrypt Authenticator.
We built this because of a gap we kept hitting. Almost everyone agrees passwordless is the future. A recent FIDO Alliance study found reducing phishing and credential‑based breaches is the #1 driver (45%), and 93% of organizations are on a passkey journey. Yet only 13% have reached large‑scale deployment. The interest is there; the rollout stalls.
Our read on why: most passwordless methods verify a device, not a person. That's what creates the pain at scale — "which device holds my key?", account recovery, lost/replaced phones, cross‑platform gaps, and a growing pile of credential systems to govern.
So we took a different path. SenseCrypt verifies the live person by face: every sign‑in turns a face into a non‑reversible, single‑use, quantum‑safe token, and no biometric template is ever stored (matching happens on the device). It's a full identity provider: OIDC, SAML, SCIM, CIBA, so it drops into your existing stack, and because identity is tied to a person, not a device, recovery and cross‑device "just work." It even extends to authenticating AI agents, not only humans.
You can run a real passwordless sign‑in in ~60 seconds, no signup: https://sensecrypt.com/try-it-live
A few things I'd genuinely love your take on:
- Is "verify the person, not the device" the missing piece for passwordless at scale — or do passkeys just need more time?
- If you've tried rolling out passwordless, what actually blocked you: recovery, device lock‑in, cross‑platform, or org/governance complexity?
- Would you trust face‑based auth more knowing no biometric template is ever stored?
And the one we keep debating: as AI agents start acting on our behalf, how should they prove who they're acting for?
Honest feedback welcome, we built this product with lots of love <3
