Implications of this is: 1️⃣ No more A/B tests to find a better target, product, timing, etc. 2️⃣ No more data analytics to design ‘hypothesis’ for a better ‘rule’ 3️⃣ Yes to automatically create truly personalized messages - which will boost up your CTR/CVR, while cutting down irrelevant messages Our Backstory Before Sendi, our team operated RecAPI service, providing AI-based recommendation algorithm to B2B clients (commerce, content, etc.). For over 2 years, we saw our clients boosted up their GMV and retention by personalized product offerings. At the same time, clients kept told us about personalizing CRM messages. They said they’re currently using expensive messaging platform but not quite leveraging it well. 2 reasons were there - solutions are too difficult to be skilled, and require too many human resources to orchestrate messages. So our clients came up with us, with a hope that AI can also help CRM marketing. Therefore we started to investigate and found out it could be a great opportunity - since CRM marketing leverages first-party data (that we’ve been leveraging for years in RecAPI service), and there are bunch of more use cases rather than product recommendation (e.g., target, timing, channel, pricing(promotion), etc.). Now we believe that AI could tranform first-party data marketing market, replacing repetitive but inefficient orchestration process (data analytics, A/B tests..) with AI recommendation technology.
