James Patterson just released a new book, "Private Vegas," and he's selling a physical copy for $300,000 or a digital version (only releasing to first 1000 fans) which will self-destruct in 24 hours.
We've been seeing more interesting ideas in the book industry. I just saw one that tells the same story from two perspectives, and randomly changes the order in different books, which influences how you view the characters depending on which order you read their story.
A book that has a limited reading life, also interesting in the a) pressure to finish it and b) the supposed lack of being able to reread it. You could always buy it again.
