SeismicComm: Ground-coupled seismic communication for resilient data

I designed this because I believe we were missing the most secure and underdeveloped layer in the communication stack: ground-based seismic communication. It’s not meant to compete with modern electromagnetic systems on speed or bandwidth. Those technologies are extraordinary. But in contested environments, warfare, spectrum denial, subsurface operations, or future off-world settings, speed matters less than continuity. By anchoring communication to the ground itself, seismic signaling offers extreme resilience where traditional systems degrade or fail. Designed for rapid deployment with minimal exposed infrastructure, this layer exists to ensure communication endures when access, air, and spectrum can no longer be assumed.
