Seek is a free live voice app for iPhone. No sign-up or friend requests. Within 5 km, hear local voices or join friends on the same four-digit channel to talk and see each other on the map. Tune in to 9999 for voices from around the world. Hold to talk. Internet required. Numbered channels are not password-protected.

I built Seek around one simple idea: you shouldn't have to add someone as a friend just to talk to them. Agree on 4 digits, hop into the same channel, hold to talk — and when you're done, you just leave. You don't even need to register or log in — no phone number or email required. As effortless as breathing.
The channels:
- 0001–9998 — private. Pick 4 digits with your crew, talk in real time, and see each other's location and distance within 5 km. Built for hiking, group travel, festivals — finding each other in a crowd.
- 0000 — tune in to hear what's happening around you right now. The traffic jam ahead, the game down the street — real life, live, within 5 km.
- 9999 — the world channel. Switch here and you're instantly connected to the whole planet — someone in New York, someone in Tokyo, all in the same conversation, no matter which corner of the world they're in.
That's my favorite thing about it: four digits are all it takes for complete strangers to land in the same conversation.
