Second Opinion adds one button to Amazon product pages. Click it and you get an honest read on whether the product is a good buy, plus a genuinely better option when one actually exists. It stays quiet until you click, reads only the product you are checking, and every recommendation is fact-checked before you see it.

tried it on some kitchen gear i was eyeing and it actually found a better option i hadnt seen. love that it doesnt nag me with anything, just sits there until i need it.
@onarsevil55307 hehe actually trying to give something valuable, so i really appreciate that feedback!
@onarsevil55307 Btw i was wondering if you could leave a review on the google extension page? you dont have to ofcourse but it would really help :)
Tried it on a pair of headphones I was eyeing and it straight up told me the cheaper alternative was the better pick. Loved that it doesn't nudge you toward anything until you actually ask.
@aslaaayakugaa Yeah that was the idea, not a spammy annoying feature that sends popups and trying to push a purchase on you. I appreciate that feedback!

Clicked it on a pair of noise-cancelling headphones I was eyeing and got a straight answer that the model I picked had meh reviews plus a legit better pick that was actually cheaper. Love that it does not nag me every time I open a page.
@osman251491 Im happy that it worked for you and appreciate the feedback!

I like the idea of an AI "second opinion" before buying instead of simply recommending products. Curious whether you've found users value catching bad purchases more than discovering better alternatives they wouldn't have considered.
@aryan787544 Thanks, appreciate it!
@andre_aa_johansen Glad it resonated. I think there's a really interesting positioning opportunity in being the product that helps people avoid expensive mistakes—not just find better products. I'll be curious to see which message ends up resonating most with users after launch.
@aryan787544 Yes it absolutley did. I just hope it can help people in some way then i will be happy :)

Honestly this is a super smart idea since Amazon reviews are basically chaos now. One thing though, could you add a way to save the products you check? Like a little history list, so if I look at a few options over a few days I can actually compare them side by side instead of having to click through everything again.
the fact-checked recs thing is honestly such a smart move, you basically don't have to second guess whether the suggestion is just affiliate fluff. love that it only activates when you click it too.
@zmra6yh3 Thanks that makes me really happy that you liked it!
