Hi Product Hunters! My name is Tyler, and I'm the solo maker behind Seats in Studios. This product was inspired by my countless hours spent in tattoo and hair studios, getting to know their owners and the professionals that work in them. These years of 'informal customer research' taught me that both industries share very similar profiles. It didn't matter what state or studio I was in, I heard the same pain points and unmet needs echoed. I created Seats in Studios to address many of these pain points with a platform that is tailored to the nuances of these industries. It is intentionally kept simple and affordable. For studios, it provides the freedom to create positions that uniquely meet their business' needs. Two use cases to illustrate this; 1.) Looking for professionals with specific skills to fill full-time roles. 2.) Bringing in a professional for a set time in a guest or temporary role to maintain 100% occupancy on available seats. For professionals, it unlocks opportunities that didn't exist before or were locked behind closed networks. Two use cases to illustrate this; 1.) A professional is able to return to their profession on an adhoc basis by filling temporary positions that work for their schedule. 2.) Guesting in another city to grow their client base or just to travel and have the cost covered by their work. It is my hope that Seats in Studios creates a space that empowers professionals and studios to best manage their careers and businesses. This launch represents v1 of Seats in Studios. I have a few directions that I can take it from here, but want to solicit feedback from users and communities like this to help inform the best route. This is my first product build and launch, so please provide any and all feedback you may have. I'll be here all day answering questions and responding to comments.
