The Coronavirus outbreak has forced many local bars and restaurants to make to consider shuttering their business. However, many cannot afford that. SeaToGo provides a crowd-sourced & dead simple way to search for businesses who could really use your support.
@andrewc3 I agree. Over time I think it would be a good addition. I was hoping that ProductHunt would attract some more contributors to help aggregate information.
👋 Hey everyone! I built SeaToGo over a week to spread awareness of businesses who could really use the help in my hometown of Seattle. I may not be in the restaurant owner, chef, waiter/waitress, etc, but I have family members who are who lost their jobs as business slowed to a crawl.
Support your favorite restaurants by adding them to the list and sharing it with your friends, family, your dog, or anyone who would like an amazing meal. With even just one order, you can help keep these local businesses open.
The information currently present in the app is crowd-sourced from different web pages, forums, and chatrooms. This is a very time consuming process as information is often missing for many restaurants. I would love for anyone interested to help contribute to this effort as I am not backed by any company, organization, etc.
In the future, I hope to add other major municipalities such as New York, San Francisco, and Austin.
Cheers! 💎

Hey! thank you for your ideas. so it's like a delivery application?
@leslielee Not quite. This is supposed to provide a fast and easy way to search a directory of bars and restaurants who are still open for delivery. It categorizes restaurants by neighborhood, type, and delivery apps that they can be found on. This serves as another layer of exposure for businesses who can they use the delivery apps to order.
