Wikipedia has endless knowledge, but terrible discovery. I built Scrollopedia to fix that. It’s a beautiful, bingable feed with category selection that actually works & summaries for every page.

Wikipedia has a ton of great articles, but they're hard to discover if you don't already know what you're looking for.
Some of you might remember the viral WikiTok, an attempt to create an endless scroller out of Wikipedia. The idea was great, but the execution fell short for me. The lack of working categories meant you'd mostly see articles you don't care about, and its image-only focus filtered out entire topics like philosophy.
So, I made Scrollopedia, an app that makes Wikipedia truly bingable.
Here's how it works:
✨ Smart Category Selection: I created custom page lists using a mix of automated and manual filtering. Some categories, like Interesting Places, are custom-built to remove mundane articles, giving you tens of thousands of gems to explore.
🧠 Summarize & Simplify: Instantly get a summary or a simplified explanation for any article. It's incredibly useful for understanding complex topics you might not normally read.
✅ No More Repeats: The app marks articles you've read so your feed is always fresh.
Even though the articles and data are out there, the development took way longer than expected, and I had to build a custom backend since the standard Wikipedia API wasn't enough.
I truly hope some of you end up enjoying it! Let me know what you think about it.
Available on Android now, iOS port should be coming out later, there's a waitlist on the website if you're interested.
