I built Scroll Less because I kept opening YouTube to search for a video and losing 30 minutes to Shorts. Deleting the apps never stuck, since I still needed sharing, posting and search.
Scroll Less blocks Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts inside the real apps on iPhone. You don't have to switch to a stripped-down browser version. Everything else keeps working: messages, posting, search and your feed of people you actually follow. It also hides endless feeds on the web.
The latest update is the one I'm most excited about. Blocking Reels and Shorts inside the native apps on iOS was the most requested feature, and it took a while to get right.
