After processing is finished the audio is not stored remotely with respect to your privacy. You can also easily search to find a specific voice message with some typing, meaning that you never have to scroll for hours through your conversations anymore.

@durov we love Telegram and its support sharing voice messages to third-party apps like Scribbn in iOS. There is a ticket we follow closely that could bring the same feature in Android -https://bugs.telegram.org/c/4842- In fact some of our users even took the effort and asked for it which shows how insanely Telegram has grown!
