Hello, my name is Tom Mutton, I came up with the idea of Scrib after suffering many occasions attempting to transcribe family history records only to find answers from other people on the internet. Taking myself away from researching my family history I went away to develop something to ultimately bring together people like me who need help with transcriptions with those who can. What I came up with was a question and answer style web site where people can help others and earn a reputation in the process. My vision is for Scrib to be a thriving community of transcribers and question creators; a place people trust, enjoy and get results.
