Introducing ScreenSnapAI, the ultimate tool for performing AI tasks on any content on your screen.
ScreenSnapAI allows you to select anything onscreen and rapidly perform AI tasks such as summarizing, translating, editing content or any other task you can think of.
This game changing new app will allow you to take advantage of the latest in AI technology to save time and improve your workflow.
This is an excellent app. I am going to upgrade to Pro because I find the application of AI very smart and useful. I already use Cleanshot X as my main screenshot tool, so it would be great if ScreenSnapAI allows for annotation in a future release.
@jwntr WowπCongrats! We're launching "Cascad3 - A decentralized inspiration-driven publishing platform" on Product Hunt soon. I would appreciate your support and feedback by clicking the "Notify Me" button to stay tuned and be the first to know when Cascad3 debuts on the stage.π

Compelling! Can you explain the pricing model β $9.99 for ScreenSnapAI Pro but then $4.99 per "100 Al Processing Credits"?
If I have 50,0000 screenshots, how many credits would I need to process all of them? What does the Pro license get me?
@chrismessina Thanks Chris! The free version allows for the creation of only one Smart Folder, while the Pro version offers unlimited Smart Folder additions. Additionally, the free version restricts screenshot capture to within the app itself, whereas the Pro version enables image import from external sources. The pro version also includes 50 AI processing credits. Basically we have to pay for GPT-4 API usage so the credits are to cover our costs for API usage. We are also planning to release a version where you can bring your own OpenAI API key and then you can pay OpenAI for API usage directly. The AI costs don't work out to much - less than 5 cents a screenshot currently so probably not much to be concerned about.

Question: Is there really anyone who has problems with managing screenshots? In my case, mostly I'll take a screenshot and post it somewhere, so there is no need to manage the files since it's already somewhere whether it's on a doc, in a chat, or something else. And also, CTRL+Shift+CMD in Mac (Capture to Clipboard) is so helpful in most of my scenarios.
@jrvs I think it's a valid question so thanks for the feedback. The app as it currently stands is phase 1, which is required to build the next piece of the app. There is a master plan. Stay tuned.

I am very much in need of an application that serves as a screenshot library. Simply browsing a folder in Finder doesn't work well. However, my excitement instantly deflated when I opened ScreenSnapAI to discover that it cannot watch a folder and automatically import new screenshots. CleanShot X is the best screenshot application by a very wide margin so being forced to capture screenshots using ScreenSnapAI is a large step backwards. I wish I could setup ScreenSnapAI to watch the folder where my CleanShot X images are captured to so that they are automatically imported. That way I could use Cleanshot to capture and use ScreenSnapAI as the library when I want to find a screenshot I took in the past.
@magnuson Thanks for the feedback Charles! I'm also a CleanShotX user so I totally understand what you mean. I think having a watch folder for ScreenSnapAI that it will auto import images from is an amazing idea. I think this has to make it into a future version. This is actually the kind of feedback that is so useful as I continue building this so thanks for this.
