Hello fellow hunters and founders!
Let me present you my second take on the tool how the screenshots for App Store and Google Play should be made. My story here is unoriginal - I was working on publishing a few mobile apps and then when it came to screenshots, I used Figma and did everything manually from a few templates. I checked out other apps to simplify this, but they either were too simple to provide enough customization or so complex I could not wrap my head around it. I also wanted all the data to be local and owned by me and to be just files in the folder.
Hello fellow hunters. For the last few months I have been working on yet another tool for designing, localizing and uploading App Store screenshots - Screenshot Bro.
There are lots of tools like this, so why make a new one you would ask?
I wanted the project and all the screenshot rows to be one large continuous canvas (like in Figma) so you could zoom in/out quickly to see the birds eye view of everything.
I wanted it to be usable by AI agents in a simple and accessible way, that’s why the project format is just a JSON file with JSON schema published on GitHub so you can point the agent to the file and just tell your agent - “hey, this is the schema of the file, make text bigger, translate all labels into Spanish and change all backgrounds to cool bright gradient colors” and it would just do what’s needed.
Do you think this angle makes sense for this kind of app or I am just overcomplicating things?
