I’m Dmitrii — maker of Screenshot AI.
I built this because my Screenshots folder became useless. I’d save a booking number, a Slack fix, a receipt… and a week later I was scrolling hundreds of nearly identical thumbnails hoping to recognize the right one.
Screenshot AI is a macOS app (App Store) that indexes a folders you choose, then lets you:
• Find a capture by description (“the blue jacket from last month”, “my flight confirmation”)
• Copy text out of the image with OCR instead of retyping
• Ask a question about what’s already in the screenshot — answers come with the cited images as proof
It’s not a markup/editor app. It’s a way back into the files you already saved.
