I'm Logesh. I built screener-mcp because I kept switching tabs between Claude and Screener.in while researching Indian stocks.
It felt broken. So I connected them.
Now you can ask Claude things like:
"What are the red flags in Asian Paints?"
"Find small caps with ROCE > 15% and low debt"
"Compare Kalyan Jewellers and Titan"
...and get answers grounded in real Screener.in financials not hallucinated numbers.
It took one command to install (claude mcp add screeners user -- uvx screener-mcp) and works with Claude Code or Claude Desktop out of the box.
A few things I'd love your feedback on:
What Indian equity research questions do you wish Claude could answer?
Are there screening themes missing from the pre-built list?
Would you want this extended to global markets (Yahoo Finance, etc.)?
Built this as a solo side project alongside a full-time job so rough edges exist. Happy to fix things live today. 🙏
