ScreenCap.It is a free and easy way to capture the selected region of the screen and automatically upload it to the internet for quick and easy sharing. This web app makes sharing your screen and editing the screenshare fast and so simple. Highlight, blur, or add text to the screencapture, then save and share the short link anywhere.
I love using ScreenCap.IT because it is easy, captures only the area of the screen I want to share, and I can easily add arrows or blur out info I don't want the recipient to see. I have a short link with the edited image to share over social media or instant message. Works great for sharing issues on websites I'm using with tech support, showing others where to find something on a page, or saving logos or other images that I can't save from the web.
Pros:Quick, simple to use, no account or installation necessary. Capture, edit, and use a short link to share.
Cons:Tool sometimes crashes. Requires Java.
