Every resume checker I tried gave a score and a vague "improve your keywords" note, with no visibility into what actually happened when the ATS read the resume. ScreenMyResume does two things: 1. Scores your resume against a specific job description - per-section breakdown (skills/experience/keywords/format), matched vs. missing keywords 2. Shows you exactly what an ATS extracts from your resume - contact info, skills, experience, education - plus a parseability score and the specific formatting issues that break parsers (tables, missing headers, etc). This is the part I actually think is useful - most tools hide it behind a single number. It's free to use - 3 scans/day, no signup needed. It's built on Azure OpenAI - not trying to build a funded SaaS here, just a tool I built and maintain because I kept explaining ATS mechanics to people one conversation at a time.
